Belenco countertops: documentation, fabrication and proper use

For a Belenco quartz surface, the fabrication drawing and manufacturer instructions matter as much as the sample. This guide summarizes decision points; use current documentation for the exact series for final requirements.

Specify colour and slab information in the quotation

Choose colour, veining, finish and thickness from a physical sample, then match the product code across the written quote and fabrication drawing. Belenco's technical guide includes slab handling and dimension information, but the linked English edition is dated 2020.

Confirm sizes and current series with updated manufacturer or seller documents. Plan the route for slab delivery, including lifts and doorways, along with the cutting layout before fabrication begins.

Fabrication and installation details also affect safety

Show sink and hob openings, internal corners, edge profile, seams, support structure and wall returns on the fabrication drawing. Belenco's guide discusses cutting, joining and installation, but current product instructions should still take precedence.

The Belenco guide also warns about respirable crystalline-silica dust and risks from dry cutting or polishing quartz. Fabrication and grinding should be performed by a qualified shop using appropriate engineering controls, wet processes and workplace-safety procedures.

Verify care and locally valid warranty terms

Use the care document for the selected Belenco series for routine cleaning, hot cookware, cutting, strong chemicals and stain response. Avoid broad assumptions; keep the product code and care instructions with the handover records.

Warranty duration and scope may depend on product, country, seller and installation registration. Request current written terms valid in Turkey, including exclusions and claim process; do not present a foreign brochure as a local warranty.

Pre-order checklist

Before ordering, record the manufacturer or seller, exact series and colour code, slab thickness, dimensions and batch in writing. The current datasheet and care guide should identify the same product as the quotation. Review a physical sample in both daylight and the project’s artificial lighting. A catalogue image alone does not prove product identity, exact colour or a completed project reference.

Mark wall returns, sink and hob cut-outs, seams, internal corners, edge profile and overhangs on the installation drawing. Cutting, support and bonding must follow the selected slab’s fabrication guide. Check separately whether site templating, material, cut-outs, delivery, removal and installation are included in the quotation.

The order approval should record the colour/series, dimensions, installation scope and target delivery date. Document the product warranty separately from workmanship coverage, and include care instructions and an after-sales contact in the handover file.
