Confirm the product name and material type
Corian® is described by its manufacturer as a solid-surface material. Montelli® product pages describe composite/decorative surfaces and sheet applications; this does not prove every series has the same composition. The quotation should list the exact series and colour code and include a current manufacturer datasheet.
Acrylic, composite and mineral-surface terms should not be used interchangeably. Do not make a definitive acrylic-composition claim for Montelli without a manufacturer document.
Show the sink, edge and joints on the drawing
Mark wall returns, sink and hob cut-outs, front-edge profile, corner radius, seams and overhangs on the measurement drawing. If an integrated sink or visually discreet joint is required, confirm that the selected product system and fabrication guide support it.
For patterned surfaces, approve vein direction and piece alignment. Review a physical sample under the project’s daylight and artificial lighting; a catalogue photo is not a definitive colour reference.
Keep care and warranty documents with the quote
Cleaning products, hot cookware use and resurfacing methods vary by product. Follow the care guide for the exact product offered.
Obtain written product and installation-workmanship warranty terms separately. Confirm that measurement, material, cut-outs, edge work, sink junction, delivery and installation are clearly included in the quotation.
